banjoman99 -- Thanks! Yeah, 3-14 goes pretty good in 2nd gear here. When I hit some wet spots or nasty gumbo/thick clay, it bogs down hard but the traction booster usually can carry me through. My other WD has an M&W piston kit in it, but as far as I know this '53 WD is stock (other than the snap coupler).

dahlin -- Oh nice! Yeah, after I plow, the WDs are getting put away for the winter. I think a 2-16 would be fun to try on the old WD, just to get some deeper digging with the same horses.

super99 -- Mostly just the furrow not being straight due to my sloppy driving and the front pedestal wobble, but I think I understand what you're saying about correcting a curve. Not sure I could pull it off, but I get the idea.

Charlie M -- Well the wobble is mostly feelable in road gear, haha. I can just see as I drive thru the field how the wheels kick back and forth left and right as I hold the wheel straight, or when I cross any dips or valleys and they push me off course. Yeah, I've got a couple gallons of old grease ready to slap on this plow tomorrow once I do a little more dirt playing!

NEKS -- Haha, oh yeah that would do it. I have ballast in these tires and it seems to do a good job of putting power to the ground when coupled with the traction booster.

tomturkey -- Indeed, last weekend it was almost perfect wetness of the dirt and not bad out other than the wind, but today it had dried out pretty good. It is fun to plow under bean trash, makes the field look so nice when you are done!

SVcummins -- Holy cow, that is nuts. That ground looks hard as a proverbial rock.

Chaz7795 -- Yep, 3-14 here in Illinois!
