I know what you are dealing with as I have had a similar dealing with a guy on a FREE item. This is what I posted on craigslist: I have a LARGE BOULDER in my back yard that is part of my landscaping. HOWEVER due to other plans I need it to be removed. I was told by a Crane Company that I had move it a few feet a few years ago it weighs over 6800 pounds. It measures about Six feet wide and Five feet deep. See the attached pictures! You will need a large loader or crane to lift and load it on a flatbed trailer or truck to move it. Come and get it FOR FREE!! YOU supply the means to lift and load and haul it. I got a reply within a few days that he wanted it and has equipment to do the job. BUT has done nothing but make excuses why he can not get it. Keeps saying he will come soon, but nothing happens. Why not just say he is not going to get it and say so? I know I am not out anything but my time to keep replying to him. But really, Does not a PERSON'S WORD mean anything anymore? John in AZ
