I had my injection in my right hip Thursday morning. The injection was not to try to relieve the pain for a long period, rather it was to see if the problem was in fact in my hip or in my lower back. They injected 3 different things in the hip joint, Lidocaine, Prednisone, and I can't remember what the 3rd one is. No pain at all when he injected them but when I started to get off the table I had absolutely no use of my legs. The Radiology Tech caught me and sat me down on a chair. Did you ever try to put bibs on without raising your legs at least a little, the guy had to dress me, put me in a wheelchair and wheel me out to the car. When I got home, still no feeling in the legs and the wife got me onto a seated walker and between her and a granddaughter they got me into the house. After about 3 hours I was able to stand and walk. My right hip still feels like it did 20 years ago but it let me know just how much the right was masking the left, it hurts a bunch but there is absolutely no pain in the right one. I haven't talked to my Dr. yet but I would bet a new pair of hips are in order. Thank God it's not my back or at least I can live with what little pain there is in it. Keith
