Start there and it wouldn't hurt to get a second opinion if you don't like what you hear. I'm recovering from a revision to my right hip on 6-8 and it still hurts pretty bad at times. Don't know if it's normal for a revision. Had them replaced in '09 and '10 and both are loose now. Don't put off the replacement, it's an immediate relief. I have lower back issues too and sometimes it's hard to tell what the pain is from. Eliminate the hip problem and when you're walking better it may also relieve your back. I had my hay custom baled last year and it worked out great. Same guy this year. He cut my neighbor's Thursday and mine Friday to bale Saturday and Sunday. Well, just finishing up the neighbor's and a knotter broke so mine is still laying. A shame, the weather's been about perfect for haying the last three weeks. He's trying to get a repair man here today. Good thing about selling your hay right away is you won't have to be loading or delivering in mid-winter like I sometimes have to.
