Unless you have a reason to pull a smaller one you can easily pull a 20 foot nothrill drill with a 4440. We pull a 15 foot Great Plains nothrill with any of the 3 806,856,2940 All pull it easily. I like the deere on it with the more hyradulics on it. Lifts faster on the ends. A Deere with the dolly wheel is a poor choice if you have wet ground to plant. That dolly wheel will sink like a rock with no bottom in site. Good drill otherwise. Most drills will plant wheat seed. Some will adjust small enough to plant alfalfa seed. Our GP will slow down and get small enough to plant it. Other wise if you want to plant the 2 together you will need a seeder attachment added to the drill it is a smaller seed box usually on the front of the regular seed box.
