It was a very tough year, and continues to be for some.
For me the beans would not dry down, they went to 17.5% and stayed there, was near November took 3 good freezes before they dried the driest I got was 12.8, after some snow.
Corn dried to 19-22% which isn’t bad, I had about 5 acres that were 24-27% planted as late as I’ve ever planted corn so amazed it yielded well. The trouble with corn here was no place to haul it, road construction funneled us to an elevator that slowed down to dumping 3000 bu an hour all the faster the drier moved. When you are in line behind 3-9 semis to dump at 3000 bu an hour you don’t get much done in a day. Combine sat still 8 hours a day.
