Was plowing Saturday with my MM G705 (which I love). I live in East Texas Black dirt, in a field that hasnt been worked for years...decades. Needless to say it is really really stiff dirt. Was using an IH 3 16 moleboard and the Minnie was pulling for all he had in 1st gear. Made three rounds in a 10 acre patch and got soaked when a hyd hose burst on the tractor. I cursed and kicked the dirt, unhooked and limped to the barn with the MM. Looked at my old decrepid, ugly IH 806 Diesel sitting there and thought, Why not? I cranked the old beast (which I guess has 15-20 thousand hours, smokes some, is hard to start and uses oil) returned to the plow and hooked her up. Started pulling in 1st...no problem. Tried 2nd, cake walk....went to 3rd and still watched the black dirt roll! Now guys...I am a young man and do not need Viagra but trust me...watching black dirt roll has the same effect as Viagra. I bought the IH to move hay and harrow but it is a pulling machine. Not to mention so much more agile than the MM. I spent all day Sunday cleaning the 806 up. Fixing to paint her and give much TLC, it deserves it. Also looking into ringing and sleeving it if needed down the road.

Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o
