Glad everyone liked the pics. No, I can’t share their location or who they are—even though it looks like at least one member here already knows. And I don’t want any of their stuff—not even one wheel weight. I have a good Massey that runs great and a 9N with stuck motor. That’s enough eye candy for me. They let me walk through their outdoor rust museum and play with their rescue cat—and that’s enough.

My feeling is that if someone pulled up with a suitcase full of $2M in cash and offered for everything there and they can keep the house and land—they’d likely decline. Maybe not the best financial decision, but the money wouldn’t buy them the lifestyle they know or the things they enjoy doing. I may be wrong about that—but it appears many of those machines have not moved in a very long time. However, many of them are in good running condition. My point is that if they wanted to sell—a lot of those things would be long gone by now. Me—I’d start with the Gravelys—all of them. They are space hogs and not fun to look at.

In the interest of saving time, I just posted all the pics at once. But I know this is like sitting down with a 2 lb box of candy and eating it all in twenty minutes. Maybe a bit much, but then again they convey how overwhelming it was to go through there and see that immense collection.

AND…..don’t stop posting rust pics KCM! It is one of the things I look for when I log onto the forum. I really enjoy them, don’t stop!
