I have the M135GX tractor with the M51 loader, bought it new July 2014. Replaced my CaseIH 5140 with 510 loader perfectly. 5140 had over 8000hrs and developed a taste for money. The Kubota M135 GX started its career on our 75-80 cow dairy as the baling, and ploughing/ primary tillage tractor. Pulls 5 bottom plough easy. We do wet wrapped hay, loader handles bales well. Comfortable cab, and easy to get in and out of. This tractor was demoted to yard tractor last year. Now packs silage in bunk, feeds cows, move bales and loads manure. Has 1500 hours now, and I will keep it till 2500-2800 hours, pending any changes in our business plan. I like this tractor and will only turn it in at this time to get the best trade allowance, as it will still be a very desirable tractor on the used market. Only tractors I will ever keep over 5000 hrs are my classic tractors. Last year I bought a M6 with M51 loader to replace the M135GX. The M6 uses the DEF fluid, so far , no big deal. Most that I know have a tractor with DEF have had no problems with theDEF. People that don’t have a DEF tractor tend to trash talk them, and have no first hand experience with the tractors. Given the choice, I would prefer not to have DEF, just one more thing to buy. My tractors are not show ponies, and I have no interest in the company or and dealership, just a farmer. Bruce
