Hi Just for fun google search 6105 white, and see what guys say. I run an Agco product called a Valtra 6400. It's a way better tractor than the same age and model Deere and was cheaper to buy with 4000 less hours and needing less spent to get it %100 right comparing them. Agco have a good parts system but the parts prices here in Canada are getting more stupid than Deere. The Valtra is European and so is that 6105 you might get sticker shock in a hurry compared to American built tractors. a clutch disc only for my 6400 was over $750 with Agco the release bearing was 500 and I never asked about the cover I re used mine.

We actually hired Lamborghini tractors for plowing back in the U.k that were 105's with front assist. It was a nice tractor and I knew the dealer well. he sold quite a few and some where more trouble than others, with gearbox and pto problems Same used a lot of the same parts.

From what i remember nearly 20 years ago the gearbox is not much heavier built than a smaller car. But if you can't find a gear suitable for the speed you shouldn't be trying to do the job. those had 25mph(40k) top speeds for the European market though. I'd say if it was a tractor I could afford to buy and pay for parts and somebody to fix when it goes wrong for what you can't fix your self I'd buy one and treat it right.
Regards Robert
