, Where is the Best Place to get Fire Extinguishers ? ,Can I trade in old ones to be recharged for new ones ,. ? 35 yrs ago there was a guy around here dealing and recharging , but , He died 10 yrs ago ,.. I read with interest over on "tool talk "the good discussion about Extiguisher Care , And that THEY DO EXPIRE ,. I am glad to be made aware that I MUST IMPROVE AROUND Here . in the event if Fire ever broke out here , I would be in a bad FIX,. Although I could probably round up 6 or more extinguishers ., I Know I am betting the Farm and my LIFE ,That .They are Useless for nuthin more than a wheelchok or a door prop .. And Worse I only know where 4 are handy , the rest are against the wall somewhere ..Thankfully we are not in a drought situation here , But I MUST Do better , and be ready . Over the Yrs I have had a few surprise fires...And , Honestly , I have never had a fire get out of control because i was able to douse with water quickly,. was Blessed to always have , a hose , a Bucket , A stream puddle or pond , or plenty of loose dirt .. to bring it under control quick .
