I just learned about LINK-Belts from a friend in the poultry industry, he told me that they started using them a few years ago and they lasted longer than regular V belts---so I did a little research about them being used on belt powered tools because they lasted longer and reduced startup vibration.
I put one on my alternator on my Super M a few weeks ago so we shall see but it sure was easy to put on.
The guys I work with say they have used them on tractors and loaders and such where a lot of front mounted hydraulic pumps make belt installation even harder.
