Hi

I Have a 1964 Massey Ferguson 35 Deluxe with the Z134 Continental engine(Gas).

I need to buy some parts but want to make sure I am getting the correct parts.

I have spoken to a Lady at YT and she suggested I post in this section to get answers to my questions.

Vented Fuel cap, will the one listed on YT Work for my Gas Model ,Or is it just for the Diesel Model ?

7psi Radiator Cap,will the one listed on YT work for my Gas Model

Or is it Just for the Diesel Model?

Hood Latches, will the ones on YT work for my deluxe Model?

I dont understand how they work,I have a Hole on each side of the hood inside the hood and the notches under the Console.

I am pretty sure the end with the wing nuts would go in the notches but dont know how the other ends atach to the Hood

Can someone explain to me how they attach ?

How and where fo the little rubber bumpers attach to support the hood?

The end edge of my hood when in the closed position it even with the edge of the console instead of resting on top of the edge of the console. Will the Latches pull the edge of the hood back about 1/4 to 1/2 inch so it will rest properly and the rubber bumpers raise the hood just a tad ?

Thanks for taking the time to read this and answer as I am going to place an order as soon as I get the answers.

Craig

Today's Featured Article - The Day Mom Drove the 8N - by Brian Browning. My Dad was wanting to put in a garden but couldn't operate the 8N and handle the old horse drawn plow he had found and rigged up to use with the tractor. Well, he decided to go get Mom out of the house and have her drive the tractor while he walked behind the plow. You got to understand that while my Mom is a hard worker who will always help whenever she can... she had never operated farm machinery before that day. Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o ... [Read Article]
