I'm glad to be in good company. Don't own a tv and haven't for most of my adult life. Tv is just an emotion generator. The prorgamming is designed to picque your interest, drag you along on an emotional roller coaster then leave you with whatever your feelings may be at the end. Not one ounce of thinking required. This simple post I'm writing requires 50 times the thought that even a hard hitting documentary requires. Nothing has dumbed down this society as much as tv has. And tv sports has been a big contributor to that dumbing down. But we're not going to change a nation. So I just let the dumb get dumber though I rarely let an opportunity pass to chide those who watch a lot of tv and/or sports.
