Winter sales up here have a reschedule date mentioned in case of a snow storm.
I've never seen one postponed tho, the auction staff hates, just hates doing that.
I went to one the fog was so thick couldn't hardly see what the auctioneer was pointing to, couldn't see for driving for miles and miles. Rain and snow, thry keep auctioning.
Had 2 where a person passed out, heart issues most likely, one they paused 5 minutes to get the fella dragged away from the hayrack, the other they sold the tractor the ill person was leaning against the rear wheel on the ground. They even started the tractor while he was sitting ther gasping....
Another they kept selling while a pickup caught on fire in the grassy field everyone was parked in, folks were scrambling to get their vehicles away from the one as the tires blew up.
Sure is interesting to hear the auctioneer yell above the sound of sirens, ambulance or fire.......
