Finally got a chance to get back to my combine today. Didn't take too long to get it running like a top. Turned out I had 3 problems, I had put the plug wires one hole off and that made it hard to time. Plus the points had slipped and were too close to work. Once I got those 2 things fixed she started right up and ran good. Then when it got warm she started acting up again so I put the new coil on and she is now running like a top. Thanks for all the advice tho!
Once I got her running I decided to put the corn head on that I picked up out in Wyoming on my trip a couple weeks ago. This is a real nice head with very little use, it even has paint left on the snapping rollers and stripper plates. This head is much heavier and so I'll need to get some weights for the rear. It's so light in the rear that when I drove it down a hill it tipped right down in the front. Not goin to work like that so I'll have to find a way to get some weight on it. If anyone has any wheel wheights for 16" wheels I could use some.
