The '58 GMC grain truck. It has 77,000 miles on the original six cylinder. The rear main leaks like a sieve, the lift pump leaks like a sieve, the pinion seal leaks like a sieve - I just top it off and it does whatever I want. Some harvests it runs loads all day, sometimes it doesn't leave the shed for months. I was just thinking I needed to fire it up but forgot. I think the last time I hauled with it was March when I was putting clay in terrace washouts. I couldn't even tell you where I got the battery for it (it isn't my usual brand) but it's about 12 years old. The old generator must be easy on batteries. The old thing doesn't even have an oil filter. I just top it off and run her like a scalded dog.
