I have a 1969 Massey Ferguson 1100 Diesel tractor. The Pto is activated by pulling a knob up just on the left side of the seat which engages a collar connecting the pto shaft to the clutch pack I believe. Then a lever on the console is engaged to apply hydraulic pressure to the clutch pack and turn on the Pto. Problem is when I turn it off the Pto still runs. It has gotten worse from being able to stop it with little effort to now having more torque on it. Is there and easy fix or are the clutch plates warped and the clutch is not releasing and that has to be fixed. Or is is something else?
