Massey Ferguson 1100 Pto problems

I have a 1969 Massey Ferguson 1100 Diesel tractor. The Pto is activated by pulling a knob up just on the left side of the seat which engages a collar connecting the pto shaft to the clutch pack I believe. Then a lever on the console is engaged to apply hydraulic pressure to the clutch pack and turn on the Pto. Problem is when I turn it off the Pto still runs. It has gotten worse from being able to stop it with little effort to now having more torque on it. Is there and easy fix or are the clutch plates warped and the clutch is not releasing and that has to be fixed. Or is is something else?

Thanks Dieseltech...I didn't think their was a clutch brake on this tractor. I was hoping it wouldn't be warped discs, but I would agree with you. I know it would be a long shot as to think the oil pressure applying the pto clutch wasn't releasing when the pto valve is turned off. Thanks for your reply

I would have to agree with dieseltech with the warped discs, in any chance the valve maybe seeping from a seal you can
tell by trying to turn the pto shaft with the motor off and the pto engaged in the back, if you can't turn it by hand
figure the discs are bad!
