Hi I would call a wreckers, and see what used is worth then start a bit higher. Then hopefully you come out the deal with the used set, and not to much worse off by the time the insurance, is done adjusting You!. it may even be better to just buy them and not bother, depending how much they will adjust your policy after because of the claim. in reality the real money might only cost $500 when they paid and you paid them back.
We just got done with storm damage on the hog barns. worked for nothing, supplied all the lumber and only got kinda paid for 4 out of 5 new covers. so out about $10.000 in the end. Beware you won't make money and get new wheels and tires, trust me! Regards Robert
