New Trailer Man, I needed and traded for an 01, 20 + 5 Gooseneck trailer last year. Price was outstanding, it was used by a local feller in the Kaufman Tx. area to haul round bales! It has been pulled a boat load of miles, but not beat up at all. A neighbor of mine looked at it and he is sure it's Base beams are heavier than most Tandem Dually trailers! My trailer was built in the time frame when Kaufman Trailer Owner was going through a Divorce and Paint was not a high priority! My trailer is Rusty black! Pi$$ Poor! Only Negative mark on mine. Floor is decent for a trailer that old! When I bought mine, March of 2012., the owner of my trailer had traded it back in @ Kaufman Trailer on a new one!.... after the original owner of Kaufman finely had to sell the Trailer Company to a new owner.,,, As far as I know the New owner makes just as good a quality of trailer....With better Paint!!! The only real Negative on older Kaufman trailers is Paint! I wouldn't be scared to buy another old one, or a New one!!! Hope this helps. Later, John A.
