I got tired of running extension cords everywhere and filling the gas tank when its dark. I had a 7500 watt Troy Bilt with the 16hp B&S engine. In 2012 we decided t buy a Kohler and it sure came in handy when the Hurricane Sandy hit the east coast in Oct. It will run on either LP or NG gas. We have NG and it's rated at 12kw on NG. It has 16 circuits and one of those circuits keeps the battery charged. Most of my appliances are NG gas including the water heater. Hal
