Guy from the city bought a little place about a mile from here. He got upset at a $50 hauling fee for his steers to the auction (forty miles from here) so he went to an auction and bought an old stock trailer. He sand blasted it, and threw a nice paint job on it. Then he loaded it with a few steers and headed for market. He didn't get far- the floor was so rotted it started to fall apart before he got out his lane. So, he put some new boards in it. About the second trip to the auction, he noticed the trailer seemed to be pulling crooked. The frames for the trailer were just about shot from salt and manure of about twenty or so years. He ended up just buying a new trailer...
