My SIL called in a panic a short while ago. She said one 'as big as a german sheperd' (that's no exageration, I've seen them) tried to lure one of her dogs into what sounded like the clasic bait and side ambush. The one she saw, about 50 yds from the house, stood its ground when she charged after her dog to bring it back. she was so shook up she went right in and poured herself a stiff drink. She wanted me to camp out at her house and shoot a few if I could. Trouble is, any rifles appropriate for that have been criminalized in CT so I moved them all to my other house in MI. All I have here are shotguns and that is a bit of a far shot. I would like to take out a few and leave them around the perimeter to hopefully get the others to move to another feeding ground.
