: I have a C-121 Automatic (1976??) with what looks like an electrical problem. I was mowing when it started spitting and finally died. Using the key will not turn it over. With the key on I can jump it across the solenoid terminals, the engine turns but there's no spark at the plug or points. Perhaps unrelated but the engine seemed to be running very hot. : I've been very impressed with answers to others questions on this list. I don't mind saying that I'd starve if I had to depend on my mechanical or electrical skills so please be gentle. Perhaps I can repay your help if anyone has computer related questions! Thanks in advance. I will gladly share the outcome with the list. : : Loren try bypassing all of your safety switches, one at a time. I have a 1979 C-81, I about went crazy until I discovered my switch on the clutch was not working properly at all times. these switches can cause all kinds of problems when not working right.
