Alright - anyone have any recommendations where to buy a pressure guage that can read 1900psi? Its not something one can find at Napa...then once I have it...how would I know what fittings to buy to thread it into the test port?

This is getting nuts...I've replaced the hyd steering pump - that wasn't the problem.

At very low RPM - I have some steerage and I have some brake and I have some clutch - when I first start the tractor - I have those things but only momentarily...Increasing RPM's shuts down any function of those things.

The manual pump in the steering column didn't work at first wheel kept spinning but then it seemed to work - but I got so much weight on the front there is no hope of turning it.

I added the additional 5 gallons of hyd fluid above the full mark - I'm about 1 to 1.5" above full on the dipstick.

I cannot find or see an relief valves other than on the MCV and I can read there is one on the manual pump...

What about that MCV pressure switch - I have 6V going to it

This tractor I bought from a guy who bought it from a landfill - its dirtier than hell and I can't move it to a hydrant to clean it and I'm not sure I want to - but its fairly difficult to see anything...

Further - the farm all around the house is subsoiled so pressure washing it out there - well you can imagine...I don't want to do that...

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: 1951 Farmall H - by The Red (John Fritz). I have been a collector of Farmall tractors since 1990 when I first obtained part of the family farm in Eastern Indiana. My current collection includes a 1938 F20, 1945 H, 1946 H, and the recently purchased 1951 H. This article will focus on what I encountered and what I did to bring the 1951 NEAR DEATH Farmall H back to life. ... [Read Article]
