Saw the MD today, had Xrays taken and they saw a piece of bone floating in the joint. That's about all I found out. Appt with the orthopedist is July 11. Now that I think about it, every so often there will be a little pop in that knee and then the pain would be a little less. Feels like a normal popping joint only isolated to one small spot in the knee. Why the joint just popped big time and hurt like he!! when I took weight straight off the knee when I was getting on the tractor is a mystery. There was no twisting or jerking, I just lifted the leg straight up off the ground and POP! Would a piece of bone floating in the joint do that? Or is there something else too and they happened to find the bone piece with the Xray? I'll just have to be patient.
Today I can put some weight on it and I've been walking on it but I have the crutches under my arms for the times it stabs me. Last night the foot was swollen and slightly discolored but that's pretty much gone away now. Jim
