If you're thinking of replacing JD 60 tractor with another similar JD two cylinder tractor with a wide front end it would be simpler to change the front end. I say this because you know what you have with your 60 rather than buying a different tractor with a new set of problems to be repaired.
If you would replace your JD 60 with a different type of tractor then sell the 60 and buy the tractor you'd like to have.
Try to drive a two cylinder JD tractor with a wide front end before you spend a lot of money on a WF end. Older WF tractors may not turn very sharply so they are not as handy as a NF tractor or a newer WF tractor.
