We have an 05 with the 2V 4.6 2wd work truck (long bed single cab) and I got a combined (hand-calculated) 19 and change on a highway trip to pick up 2 18.4x34 duals (loaded on the way back in the bed). I went 65-75 while on the interstate. It has the stock tires and a 3.55 rearend. It is a 2wd truck as well. My Dad has an 03 with a 2v 5.4 in a supercrew 4x4 and in all honesty, the 4.6 in the reg cab longbed 2wd 05 feels just as peppy if not peppier, but it's also probably a good 1000 lbs lighter... My Dad's 2v 5.4 SCrew 4x4 gets 15-17 on the highway going 70-75.
