Had a busy day yesterday...
Walked in to work a little early, got a phone call and things spun thru my shift and half the next....
It's easy to lump folks in a crowd (and a bunch of you folks do it) and badmouth the entire breed when you have a bad experience with one of a group.....
Yesterday, a bunch of soldiers were convoying to the training area about 90 miles away. On the autobahn with warning lights, bigass white sign on the last vehicle and warning triangles. Moving up the autobahn. trucks over 7.5 ton can only drive 50mph. Military convoys can only drive 50mph.....
Was the start of an autobahn switch so the convoy may have been a little slower than 50 but moving good..... Truck driver comes from behind and hits them hard enough to make one hummer look like a slinky and damage two others. 6 casualties, one dead on scene in multiple pieces, one prolly gone by now, and broken neck, and 3 cut/beat up pretty good.
All had survived afghanistan more than one tour and ate it going to a rifle range... Truck driver walked away and was smiling for the camera..... No skid marks on the road and the truck was recently inspected... Real easy I guess for folks to say all truck drivers are =======.....
