IF the Meyers 3245 you are looking at is a V-Max model with the third auger then it will spread the manure/hay you are talking about easily. I have sold them and own one right now. They will spread the manure out evenly and well broken up.
The only down side to them is that they don't have the greatest ground clearance. If you have to cross a creek or ditch watch the back end as you can drag it.
I hate a side slinger spreader. The most uneven spread pattern out there. Pull hard and need maintenance on the hammers often if used in hard manure.
