Nature's cruelty? I thought you were talking about me. Everyone I know would have thought you were talking about me. Even my own mother would have thought you were talking about me. As a matter of fact, she always swore that my father cheated with the milk lady because to her my mother tell it, there was no way she gave birth to me.
I know what you mean though. We have Osprey by me, and they are about as big as eagles. We used to have a chiuaua as a house dog that we inherited from someone, and one time I let it outside amd there was an osprey pirched on our fence rails and I didn't see it until I let the chiuaua out. Obviously our big dogs weren't out at the time or the osprey wouldn't have been there. Its a good thing that osprey had good vision and liked fish, or that chiuaua would have been toast. Burned toast.
