'Fraid you'll drop off the end of the world???? Just kidding. Used to work 70 miles from home and drive it everyday. Would get up sat or sun morning and drive all over Germany to walk 6 miles and get a beer mug.
Saw an ad, made a call, and drove 700 miles RT to look at a horse (bought it but will have it delivered). I'll see something on TV that looks interesting, find it on a map, and go see it myself. Getting a little lazy tho. Take a lot of bus trips and if on a weekend to a specific place, take a train (up to 5 people can ride unlimited anywhere in Bavaria 1800 friday-2400 Sun for 15 euro). Bought my bailer 60 miles away and drove my tractor (8-10mph) to get it. Drive 100 miles RT several times a summer to drink some good monestary beer (wifes drives).
