Always remember: A lifetime warantee means the lifetime of the manufacturer, not your lifetime. Craftsman has a pretty good record in that respect. The majority of my replacement or additional tools are now Craftsman. I may be a tad luckier than most. The local Sears is a little closer that the hardware store
