My son received a Chicago Electric rotary tumbler (rock polisher) for his birthday. The process involves running the tumbler for weeks to polish the rocks. It ran for two days and the belt broke, but alas they provided a replacement belt with the tumbler. It lasted 2.5 days. Chicago Electric said "Ya we have lots of problems with those and it will take 30 to back order, try a rubber band". Look elsewhere to polish your rocks (so to speak)
