There is no "correct" loader for your tractor.Anyone of many will fit both tractors and is perfectly acceptable.As was said a 2000 is 'period correct',but anyloader that fits is OK.If it is a brand other than IH,It doesnt matter.Second,the narrow is just fine for baleing and general farmwork.The only time you really NEED a wide is when you need to straddle something. Like a windrow while round baleing or turning windrows. As far as being "more stable,That is a wives tale. Thirdly,Buy/order books.Owners and service manuals.They are going to be the4 cheapest,most useful thing you will ever buy for your new tractor. Happy tractoring! Steve
