I ended up getting a rebuilt carb for my super a as I found rust and all sorts of broken parts in mine from sitting outside. The rebuilder said it was good to go and tuned to his super a. Now I know that it has to be tuned to the tractor but in my manual it only shows an idle screw? Also, I got a new spring for the governor because it seems to have some issues there too. I can push the rod a lot farther and get some good rpm out of it. This tractor was all original when I got it, old ladies dad bought it new. So I want to make sure with the new carb that I adjust everything back.
Basically when I push to full throttle about halfway there it starts revving up and then seems to drop back a little. It barely has enough power for 4th gear. Seems to idle okay, but it does hiccup every once in awhile.
