Hey Dave, I know what you mean by not knowing who you are bidding against. I know my dad was bidding on a Ford tractor on an online auction, was supposed to have no reserve, and he bid until it got out of his price range then it was sold. Even went down to see it before he bid, they told him they were reducing their inventory. He was bidding against 2 other people until the other dropped out. Didnt get it, figured oh well, then happened to drive by where it was at about a month later and was still on the lot of the place selling it, still for sale. Sent his buddy in to ask about it, and they told him they had just gotten it in. Likely story.... Anyway, Dad was bidding on the W400 or 450 with no engine or sheetmetal for parts. That one had a complete power steering set up on it. He was hoping to get it because he has a W400 diesel with a broken tooth on a steering gear. Someone else's autobid outbid him at the last second, lol. Ross
