Well, last night I finally got around to moving my super c, which I hadn't started in 2 months. I have overhauled the engine, put new gauges on it, rebuilt the trans, so all I need to do is send it to the painter.. After runing the tractor for a while, I noticed that the temperature gauge wasn't registering, so I put a feed sack over the grille and ran the tractor for about 15 min with it on, and still nothing.. After shutting the tractor down, the oil gauge didn't fall back down to zero, but now is stuck at the second mark.. I guess these guages have crapped out after only 10 hours of use.. I like what OEM tractor parts is doing, but from the luck I have had their parts are not high quality. I know several people who have bought the mag and distributor switches, and the switches bunt out on them rather quickly.. Has anyone else had problems with OEM Tractor Parts's merchandise?? Or is this just a string of bad luck?? I am honestly tempted not to buy another part made by this company, and just start the long search for NOS guages and other parts for my tractors.. Thanks for any input..
