All

I have lurked around this forum for quite some time. Haven't really felt the need to post a bunch of meaningless posts because usually the search function will suffice. This is a very valuable forum.

So I finally got serious about working on this 1951 Super C in November. My uncle owned this tractor since 1968. Compression tested the engine and it was okay. So we set the valves, rebuilt the carb, distributor and governer. New wiring harness gauges and lights. New front cover and water pump. New clutch and rear main seal. Belt pulley delete and new seals. New Tires. Muffler...hood...seat. Ton of other stuff I'm sure I'm forgetting.

I just got the tractor back from the guy who painted it for me yesterday. He did an awesome job in my opinion! Paint is 2150 CNH paint...I used it because I knew it was the right color. Tractor will not be used much and will live in the shed. Fading not a big issue.

So my question is this...would some of you old guru's please look at my "Super C" emblem and tell me if this is correct? Gallery Link below. It does not have the white background with red letters on it like most of them I've seen. The decals came from OEM Tractor Parts. They look fine...but

Needless to say I've spent a lot of money on this thing and I want it to be right.

Thanks Guys!

Today's Featured Article - The Rescue of a Fordson F - by Anthony West. Introduction I live in the UK and have for many years restored Fordson tractors (in the main model N's). I have also restored and shown model F's, E 27N's, Field Marshall Series 2, David Brown Cropmasters and the old rey Fergeson T 20. At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p ... [Read Article]
