THere are two different PTO systems that were offered on that tractor. One is a transmission driven PTO. it looks just like the ones on a farmall H or M. It always stops when the clutch is pushed in. It has an actuating rod or lever system that pulls up on a small lever on the external part of the drive. The IPTO is independent. It is hefty and has the ability to stay in operation with the clutch pushed down. The lever is on the right side and has a pivot at the top of the right axle. the handle has a button that is pushed down to release it from "stopped" (down) to "operate" (up) position. it locks in either position, and should be in one or the other unless the lever is moving from one to the other. My adjustment is for the IPTO. the other Trans driven PTO has no external latching system. Jim
