Good Morning! My wife and I have restored a 1956 IHC S-100 that we really enjoy driving. Just got the heater repaired, and put another 120 miles on it yesterday! Anyway, the engine is a BD220 6-cylinder. It has a vented valve cover oil cap p/n 76770R91. I was wondering if there is any problem with switching to a non-vented cap, p/n 86900R91 from a BD282. The BD220 has a crankcase breather tube. We replaced the rings and had the valves ground this past spring. Just don't like the oil fume smell from the valve cover. I have attached a photo of this pretty little truck, Cub-Cadet yellow and white. (Sorry the image is so large!) A most Blessed Veterans day to all of you!
