Hi,
I went today to look at a 1951 M in my area. It has supposedly run within the last year, but has been sitting for the last 3 months. The owner couldnt/wouldnt start it, so I dont know if or how well it runs. The sheet metal is ok, but the bottom front cover is missing. Steering seems tight with very little play but again, its not running at the moment so I dont know if its good or not.
It has been converted to 12V and has a live hydraulic system. The tires are shot and need to be replaced, and there are no fenders or lights (though it has the mount and a tool box).
I'm just curious to see what everyone things as to the value of an M nowadays. I've seen some go for quite a bit ($3-4000 in show condition) and some that are rough go for a lot less. I think the seller and I are pretty far apart on the price, especially since it isnt running and I couldnt take it for a spin.

You can never have wide enough tires or heavy enough weights to get all the traction you want … unless you own a monster tractor. U
