Someone cut the opening in the hood, all the way out to the edge of the hood. I assume that they did this so that the hood could be removed without removing the muffler and the steering shaft. Before I put the hood back on this tractor, I bought a used muffler for it at a swap meet. The exhaust pipe is about 1.375 below the hood opening and when I put the muffler on, it sits too close to the hood. Is the pipe to short, or does the proper muffler for the F20 have a longer stem than most other mufflers? Thank you SDE
