Most of that info is available to the dealer via computer. It isn't currently available for the casual user looking up info online.
If you buy used manuals from a dealer, there's usually all kinds of helpful info scribbled in by hand as far as substitutions, alterations, etc. that weren't there when they were printed. Some may have been changed by the OE, some altered by dealers, some for similar parts from other equipment mfr.'s/aftermarket parts mfr.'s. I have a IH bearing catalog that has many MH/MF, Case, Delco Remy, along with some shortline bearing numbers on typed sheets in the front of the book that a dealer did on their own years ago. I have a hardware catalog that has some other mfr.'s hardware p/n's written in by hand alongside the IH numbers.
