I have to disagree. You"ll see on the RH hitch prong there"s a welded tube,that was used to pin the mower bar "Lead" adjuster unit when used with the Super C and 200 Fast Hitch.That was the rod and bracket that attached to the RH axle housing,used with the rear cultivator rear axle mounting clamp. To my knowledge the #28 did not have that,since the 300 Utility had no need for that setup,it used a bracket bolted to the RH axle housing with a chain and clevis arrangement. I"ll have to go through my old IH manuals and get out my mower attaching instructions to adapt the C-21 P,C-24-P Fast Hitch mowers to adapt to both the 300/400 Fast Hitch,and the later "Traction Control" Fast Hitch,as used with the 230/350/450 tractors. I"m not sure I can scan that,if I can I"ll try to post on here so one can see just what is involved.
