If you really really want to use an alignment tool, just take a rod. Wrap end with masking tape or what ever tape you have. Make it fit pilot bearig and then farther back fit the internal splines. That being said, leave the "capped" pressure plate and disk hang on pto and transmission shaft. Install plate from underneath, just keep checking as you push it together that the pressure plate is not hanging up on edge of flywheel. I have seen some very badly deformed pressure plates over the years when too many helpers pushed or pulled a tractor together. I did a ton of them that way before I got smart and left plate off until later. Much easier and NO helpers please.
