I have 2 Super C's set up for truck gardening. 1st is set up and weighted for plowing discing etc. Wheels are set in all the way. 2nd is set up for planting, cultivating with fertilizer side dressers. I'm currently setting up a 3rd one as a general work tractor to mow, spray etc.
I set up for 36" rows. Tires are set at 72". I don't use hippers but do have 2 busters set up at 18" each side of center. These are mounted on a fast hitch tool bar behind the tractor. IH did make a C18 skip row middle buster that mounted to the front of the tractor. I mounted it once and never again. Too much work.
I have fast Hitches on 2 of my 3 Super C's and much prefer that system to the 3 ph.
1st pic is of C254 cultivators mounted on a Super C 2nd pic is of Super C with Fast Hitch mounted C20 2-14" mold board plow. 3rd pic is Fast Hitch C251 planter with fertilizer. 4th pic is 7' disc harrow.
