Due to the limited number of SH engines I don't have much experience with them. So can't say what cam all of them had. On the 300 and 350 they used the same cam up to C175 engine # 9000 and something. Have to look it up if you need the exact #. After that the cam gear retaining threads and nut was changed to left hand threads. Rest of the cam stayed the same. Do have a IH release annoucement about the SH engine that tells the changes to have more power over the H. Although it mentions details on other parts it doesn't mention the camshaft, leading me to belive when the SH engines started they were using the same cam as the last built H tractors. Anyone have a SH parts manual printed before september 1953?
