The piviot pin is threaded on each end and the fine thread bolts screw into it from each side. No long bolt originaly. Trouble with the bolt screwing into both sides is there hard to get apart after time. Someone saws them off to get the seat apart and then don't bother with the same type parts. Like was said the aftermarket has the pin and parts in one package deal. Notice the original type rear shack used the same rubber bushings the seat piviot does. Some aftermarket shocks have a different bushing or bushings.
